Joe Lovano & Alexander After the concert	Joe Lovano & Alexander Alexander is thrilled to meet Mr. Lovano	James Weidman, Esparanza Spalding, & Francesco Mela This was taken backstage after the concert.

We went to see The Joe Lovano Quartet play at the Wolf Performance Hall. The concert was fabulous.  The music was hot.  The quartet just sizzled.

Joe Lovano has won countless awards for his saxophone playing including a Grammy and multiple "Down Beat Reader's Poll" awards.  Ben Ratliff of t\The New York Times says, "It's fair to say that he's one of the greatest musicians in jazz history"

All the musicians were amazing in this quartet. Esparanza Spalding stole Anthony's heart with her spider fingers all over that bass. She was hot! Francesco Mela dazzled us with his astonishing drumming, and James Weidman is a master at the piano.

All in all it was a incredible concert.
