This is the first time Alexander has marched and played with the Holy Spirit Marching Band. Alexander plays cornet with the band and has been them for a couple of months now. We processed from the Portuguese Club to a nearby strip-mall.  We then paraded back to the Portuguese Club where, after the band played a few more tunes, we had bread soup and meat to celebrate the Holy Spirit. The band then played a concert. We were tired and not feeling well, or else we would have stayed on to listen and watch folkloric dancing. Later this evening was a social dance. I imagine as Alexander gets older, he will likely want to stay for such an event. For now we did not stay.
